About Tamika Quinn

Dr. Tamika Quinn’s story is a powerful journey from ICU to impact. After surviving two strokes at just 27 years old, followed years later by heart surgery, she transformed her personal fight for survival into a lifelong mission to help others protect their health, recognize their power and make choices that can change—or even save—their lives.
Known as Your Favorite Stroke Survivor™, Tamika is a U.S. Navy veteran, national speaker, author of 12 books, legislative health advocate and wellness entrepreneur. Her work sits at the intersection of prevention, education and real-life experience, allowing her to connect with audiences in a way that is both relatable and actionable.
As Founder of GLAM Wellness Group™ and G.L.A.M. Giving Life and Motivation, Inc., Tamika is committed to helping individuals, families and organizations reduce preventable health risks and build healthier lives. Her advocacy has included serving as a spokesperson and volunteer ambassador with the American Heart Association and contributing to efforts that helped advance Philadelphia’s Sodium Warning Label legislation.
Her story has been featured by national media, including Essence and BuzzFeed, but Tamika’s greatest impact is found in the people she empowers to take ownership of their health, move forward after adversity and recognize that survival can be the beginning—not the end—of their story.
From ICU to Impact, Tamika has turned survival into service and experience into a mission that continues to save, educate and inspire lives.
