About Tamika Quinn
Tamika Quinn is a two-time stroke survivor, veteran, widow, author, business success mentor and holds multiple certifications from John Maxwell Team and Les Brown as a certified speaker, trainer and life coach. Tamika has graced faith based pulpits, corporate training rooms, college campuses and conference stages sharing her expertise, experience, and enthusiasm for helping people get unstuck and move forward in their life, health, business and ministry.
Tamika is also the owner of Pink Carpet Glam Girl Spa, a business that provides spa parties for young girls while focussing on etiquette.
In addition, Tamika along with her daughters Cashara and Sequoia are the founders of G.L.A.M. Girl, Inc, Giving Life and Motivation, a pending non-profit organization focused on creating awareness and preventing heart disease, obesity and stroke in the minority community. Tamika has helped her oldest daughter overcome many challenges in her teenage life, including obesity, bullying, low self-esteem and even beating high cholesterol by changing eating habits and adding exercise to her daily routine.
Tamika has a special place in her heart for helping women avoid stroke and heart disease. She is a National Spokeswoman for the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association. Obesity and uncontrolled hypertension were factors in Tamika's strokes, so her focus is educating heart healthiness to women's and children's organizations using her Fat Girl 2 Glam Girl™️ program. The self proclaimed once "fat girl" has lost more than 80lbs, helped her teen daughter lose more than 40lbs and inspires others to make lifestyle changes to get in shape through proper nutrition choices.
